now that i've updated on pumpkin's monthly progress...
time for me to update other happenings.
probably from where i left off...

pumpkin's knock 3mths back =X
which was uber long ago.
i rmbred after e incident... pumpkin was back to his usual self.
very cheery n happy everyday.
learning n doing more 'tricks' always.

look at the amt of saliva pumpkin was drooling
silly me tot he was teething.. almost scared e shit out of me.
cuz ihe was onli 2mth+ back then
lucky he wasnt.

lookin after pumpkin makes my day pass so fast..
till i hardly have any time for myself.
and since pumpkin turned 3mths..
we've brought pumpkin back to our own pl every night.
and surprisingly...
pumpkin loves it.
probably cuz theres aircon.

my little pampered child.
which parent dun wan to give the best to their children?

Bryan's 5th Month Progress

weighting 9kg & standing at 69CM
drinking 280ml of milk 4times a day
eating 2times of cereals + veg/fruit puree
able to do half flip =(
able to move backwards n sideways in walker.
starts pinching ppl :x

able to sit straight with support
very greedy. always staring at others eating (his mouth wil also move :|)
knows how to snatch for toys

Bryan's 3rd & 4th Month Progress

Lil Pumpkin is 3 months old.

weighting 7.35kg and standing at 67CM
drinking 250ml every 4-5hours
waking up more often than previous 2months :(
able to express his emotions much beta. eg : frowns when he's angry.
hates slpin on his tummy
no longer eating his pacifier
still unable to flip
loves to play water when bathing
able to grasp his his 2 hands together
recognizes ppl. eg : mummy & daddy
makes alot more noises n screamin for attention at times
moving and kicking very vigorously

Mega Pumpkin is 4months old

weighting at 8.3kg
drinking 28oml of milk every4-5hours
back to his usual waking of once per night
laughs n screams very loud
able to wave byebye n do gong xi gong xi at times.
plays with his baby toys
able to lift his head up 90degrees when placed on tummy
not able to flip still
able to move himself backwards when placed on mattress
alot more movements n expressions
able to recognize e camera

my LITTLE pumpkin has transformed to a MEGA pumpkin :) he weighting real heavy now. makin my arms sore after carryin him 4 a short time. HAAHHAA. when mega pumpkin turned 4 months, we brought him to e hairdresser n got his hair cut. we din get him a shave cuz we were attending a party e week after. baby was rather well behaved n allowed the lady to trim his hair. ohhh... n mega pumpkin is droppin his infant hair... quite afew visible patches on certain areas :( hopefully his hair will grow out soon

Our 2nd Year Anniversary

16th of April is a VERY special day. because on this very day in 2008, Hubby & I got together. Last year, we went for a simple dinner to celebrate cuz i was expecting pumpkin. This year, we are still goin for a simple dinner but with e companion of pumpkin. As a memory of our journey together, i've decided to blog abt our past 24mths.

that was us in the beginning. things were lovely. we were totally in love with each other. though we had different working hours, but we still managed to meet up at least thrice every week. i still rmbr how much i love when hubs could fetch me to work every monday.

towards the end of May was my graduation. FINALLY i graduated from poly n were no longer a student. it was also arnd this time that hubby & I started havin slight cracks. though we talked tings out eventually, but e pain still lingers.

End of July was Hubby's birthday. i plan a 'party' for him n gave him tons of pressies. i believed.. that was hubby's best birthday ever. psst... im planning a BIGGER surprise this year. definitely :)

August was really e start of our honeymoon period again. we travelled overseas together for e 1st time. though e destination was onli Genting. but it was a reali fun trip. many many memories. lets hope this year we'll b able to bring pumpkin along.

September n October were relaxed n chill out. spending quality time at home or simple shoppin at JB. life was really good. and we celebrated our 1st Mid-Autumn together too. over at chinatown carryin lanterns n playin candles.

November was more of a sight seeing period for us. i rmbr us gg science centre n bird park to explore. and i guess it was arnd this time that me n hubby started livin together. tings aint that simple at first. we had to get used to each others different habits n lifestyles. quarrels did arise occasionally.. putting our r/s on a strain. but hubby was more magnanimous, givin in to me everytime. and i guess... it was arnd tis period of time that we both tot of gettin a flat real soon. havin our own love nest was our dream.

December passed real fast. probably cuz of long holidays. We din really have much events that month. except for tryin to ballot for a flat :)

Jan-Feb were both superb months. my birthday, cny n our BKK getaway. e trip was really super memorable. cuz many unexpected events happened. and it was this month tat baby bryan was conceived.

after knowing abt e pregnancy, we decided to tie e knot and bring up the little life.although e preparations were rush, but hubs & I had adequate time to prepare n plan, allowing us to enjoy the process very much. and with the little life nurturing within me, we were both elated.

After the weddin in May, we got ourselves busy with e preparations for baby bryan's arrival. goin for gynae checkups became a routine. it was a joy seeing our little one through e ultrasounds. and for hubs birthday celebrations this year, it was just a simple dinner at swensen's. As the due date got closer, my baby bump grew alot bigger, limiting my outings to only every weekend.

FINALLY after 10months of waiting, our precious gem arrived in November. tings started to get real busy n tough for Hubby, having to juggle both work n family at the same time. But he never complains cuz being able to see ur little one grow daily, every effort made is worthwhile.

For 4months since 2010 arrived... hubby & I are still learnin to cope with a new addition to the family. Being 1st time parents, parenthood has been very challenging. We are spending much more time at home now as compared to before. taking care of bryan is really tiring but satisfying. being able to see his smile at the end of the day is the greatest achievement. Now that bryan is older, bringin him out is alot easier. hopefully, things will get alot smoother.

Just like lightning... 2 years have passed. Many things have changed. And before anyone realizes... my little pumpkin have transformed into a mega pumpkin. time seriously does not wait for anybody. Truly... i wish time would pass a little slower for me to rmbr every joyous moments.

To my dearest Hubby :

thank you very much for tolerating my nonsense for the past 2years. although tings havent been very smooth sailing at first, but im glad that we both managed to overcome every obstacle together. i am really very grateful for the care n support u've shown towards me after the birth of baby bryan. i know my actions havent been showing so, but deep down... i really love u darling. I am looking forward to celebrating more anniversaries with u down the road. i promise to control my fiery temper as much as i can.

IM TERRIBLY SORRY PUMPKIN :(

yesterday was the most terrifying and unhappy day for me since pumpkin was born. someting so terrible happened and i wish i could turn back time.

i thought the day started went. was supposed to meet hubby with pumpkin at expo to get e lovely pillow. train journey to expo was DAMN LONG but pumpkin behaved himself very well. he slept through the whole journey.

everyting was fine. hubby n i managed to get wad we wanted at the fair and pumpkin was so well-behaved that he onli cried once cause his pampie was wet. pumpkin even allowed us to have our dinner without interrupting.

shit started when we were loading our stuffs onto the car.
i was carrying pumpkin into the car, when i accidentally knocked pumpkin's head against the top of the car door. pumpkin DIN cry at all. i THOUGHT it was a gentle hit UNTIL i touched his head. FUCK MYSELF!!! there was a suppression on his head. i was seriously panicking like hell. throughout the journey home... i kept very quiet and kept rubbing the suppression, hoping it would be fine.

when we were abt to reach home, i couldnt stand it and broke down terribly and told hubby wad happened. he was FUCKING angry with me. but i dun blame him. cuz i was reali reali careless n i totally blame myself for wad happened.

we din noe wad to do at all. called home n was told to bring pumpkin down to KK A&E for a check. i was reali reali worried cuz pumpkin din even cried all along. even when the nurse was checking his heartbeat n pressure. he was slpin so soundly in my arms which made me feel reali warm n blessed.

throughout the examination, pumpkin was aslp. but when e doc used smting to hit pumpkin's joints, he wail out damn loud. it hurts my heart so much that pumpkin had to go through the checks. after the checks by 1 senior n junior docs, they conclude that the suppression was pumpkin's fontanelle and not caused by the accident.

though everyting is alright now, but i'll have to monitor pumpkin for the next 72hours to make sure he doesnt show the following symptoms :
-difficulty to wake up from slp
-vomitting more than 3 times
-seizures

24 hours after the accident, none of the signs have surfaced and i pray very hard that everyting's gonna be fine. pumpkin is still as smiley as ever. he's still drinkin his milk as usual and playing with us happily. though im still feeling upset that i've caused the accident. but i know nothing can be done to turn back time. except to be extra careful the next time i board the car with pumpkin.

mummy is really sorry to have hurt you last night. it was mummy's mistake and carelessness. i hope u understand mummy did not do it on purpose and forgive mummy. mummy promise that there wont be a second time and i'll be ultra careful the next time we board the car. baby, mummy is really sorry.

lately... i've been lettin bryan slp on his tummy.
cuz he's right side of e head is alil flat.
why???? cuz my stubborn boy ALWAYS turns his head to the right while slpin.
i tried lettin him slp on pillow occasionally.
but he ALWAYS use his strong hands to push until the pillow is away.
i tried using tings to block his head from turning to e right.
but he'll always managed to. and when tings gets his way... he wil give u a super cheeky smile.

during this 2days... i let bryan slp on his tummy.
but only during the day when im beside him.
to monitor him n make sure he doesnt turns his face downwards.
he's adapting very well so far.
i've been massaging his head too.
it seems the flatness is nt that bad alr :)
hopefully it'll get better soon :)

new year 'celebrations'

how was everyone's new year??
i spend mine reali simple.
no drinkin clubbin.
cuz this year we have little bryan to look after...

hubby n i decided to catch a movie.
AVATAR 3D.
on the last day of the year.
cuz the movie's 160mins long... we caught e 8pm slot.
so that we can go back my hse n watch e fireworks.
hubby.me.bryan.

before we went for the movie...
bryan n hubby had a really sweet bonding time.
both sleepin ultra soundly together on my bed.
bryan was so cute... he would open his eyes to peek.
if nobody's slpin beside him... he wil cry out loud.
the moment he realize we're there... he wil fall aslp again :)

the movie was really nice.
esp the ending where all the blue 'humans' had to shift home.
i love e graphics they did <33

jus nice the movie ended arnd 11pm.
so we went back my pl for mahjong till 12am.
saw e fireworks quite clearly.
but it aint as nice as e ndp ones.

this year everyting is simple.
probably my birthday celebrations wil b simple too.
its comin in abother 3weeks :))

my cheeky pumpkin's 2 months old alr :)

so far he's been a really well-behaved boy.
hardly givin me any probs.
so hopefully.... he maintain this way.

here's his progress so far
-drinkin 220ml every 4hours
-wake up once every night @ 3am
-loves bathin alot as compared to 1st month
-drinkin alot of water
-able to lift his head up for 20-30sec
-loves slpin on tummy n back
-always smiling at us whenever we play with him
-loves to gaze at his daddy
-not loving his pacifier that much

the day to reflect for the year n make new resoultions for the upcoming year.

2009 have been a roller coaster year for me.
there were many changes happenings.
here are the many moments that are worth remembering...

In January... i turned 21.
thats when i get to watch R21 films legally.
and apply for a flat of my own...
but most imptly... i entered adulthood..
whereby i had to learn to b independent
and no longer rely on my family to provide for me.

In February... hubby n i had our 1st CNY together.
soon after... we left for Bangkok to celebrate valentine's day.
and it was during this month that baby bryan was conceived.
February was really a significant month for us.

March was the month we discovered i was expecting.
though e pregnancy came as a surprise...
but we were both happy to welcome our bundle of joy in November.

During April... we spend our time preparing for the wedding in May.
although it was rush... but we enjoyed every single moments.
lotsa efforts put into the wedding.
from choosing the bridal studio to banquet location...

In late April... we had our tea ceremony.
And in May... we had our solemnization and banquet held at Civil Service Club.
it was also in May... that we discovered that i was expecting a baby boy.

In June... i quit my job and became a housewife.
with a single income in e family... life became tougher.
but hubby never once complain...
and since then... we started to tink twice before spending n b alil more thrifty.

In July... hubby had his 25th birthday @ swensens
this year.. tings were kept simpler.

As the months pass... my delivery date became closer.
November arrived in a blink of the eye.
and on 7th November... i safely delivered to my baby boy, Bryan.

December, the last month of the year.
we celebrate bryan's 1st month.
and xmas... as a family of 3.

In the new 2010, i wish that
-my family will be in the pink of health
- i'll be able to enter the workforce asap
-hubby wil excel in his work n get promoted soon
-bryan will be a healthy n obedient boy
-everyone in my family to be HAPPY :)

monday was pumpkin's 1st trip out with us.
bought him to somerset 313.
wanted to do some shoppin n lunch.

lil pumpkin was so curious throughout the journey.
he was lookin arnd n frownin.
must be tinkin where he's going.
halfway through.... he got bored n started playin saliva.
he was so cheeky...
when he knows im lookin at him...
he wil pretend to look away n ignore me.
and when i turn away...
he looks n me n play saliva.

lunch at ding tai feng with hubs.
but pumpkin started to wail halfway.
lucky we were abt to finish soon.
hurried to e nursery.
damn!!! tat nursery is gross.
the automated door is NOT working.
the aircon is NOT on/spoiled.
and the nursery is DAMN SMALL.
lucky pumpkin co-operate n faster finish his milk.

by the time we r done with everyting..
time was runnin out. cuz we had to go TMC.
hubs was nice to look after pumpkin while i quickly window shop.
HAHAHHAAA.... i din managed to see anyting i liked.
probably cuz e shops were PACKED. yepx. on a monday.
its as if everyone din had to work.

went TMC next.
was there to get pumpkin's ears checked.
thank god he passed the hearing test.
the nurses there were sayin he's a big baby.
HHAHAHAA....

went home after the checkup cuz i din wanna brin pumpkin out too long.
dun wan him to fall sick or anyting.
and i realized... whenever me n pumpkin goes out...
the weather wil change from sunny day to heavy downpour =(

1st xmas

its been 2weeks since the quarrel.
though tings were resolved in e end...
but sometimes...
the wound wil just remained.
and it still hurts.

on a happier note..
its xmas eve today.
its OUR 1st XMAS with pumpkin.

but we aint gonna have any MEGA celebrations.
just gonna stay home n acc pumpkin today.
and probably headin to JB tml for some shopping.
but pumpkins nt gonna tag along with us.
cuz i've decided NOT to brin him out till he's abt 3mths.

wondering hows pumpkin doin nowadays??
he's been a reali mischievous boy.
always cryin SUPER kelian-ish when its milk time. totally cannot wait.
even if its 1min :(

and pumpkin LOVES his papa ALOT ALOT.
always gazing n wan his papa to carry.
but his papa toot toot. dunno how to carry him properly =X
i wonder if pumpkin can recognize me anot :(

after suppressing everyting for so long...
yday came the day...
whereby me n hubby lost control of everyting.

i dun wish to rmbr wad we both said to each other.
i just wanna leave everyting behind.
but CAN i?

have we both forgotten how much we used to love each other?
have we both forgotten everyting we have gone through these 20mths?
have u forgotten that....
have u reali forgotten that i onli stay at home to look after bryan now?

are there still sparks between the 2 of us?
or are we tryin to pretend there are?
what are we really tryin to achieve in our marriage?
is bryan the reason why we are still hangin on?

i know i still love u n bryan.

bryan's 2nd HepB injection

bought my lil pumpkin 2 e polyclinic 4 his 2nd dose of HepB jab.
he was such a darling... slpin throughout.
i was so worried abt pumpkin cryin out loud.
but he was soooooo BRAVE.
onli cry 5sec.

there shouldnt b any fever or swell for tis jab.
but i tink pumpkin wil b cranky tonight.
just like how he reacted when he took his BCG n HepB @ e hospital.

could say this trip to e poly reali cleared all my doubts.
i was SO confused with all the scheduled jabs.
cuz private n poly schedules are different. makin me dunno which to go for.
decided to go to poly. since can use CDA too.
and the poly is just across the road :))

reali thank the nurse alot.
she was so patient.
explainin the diff jabs n side effects to me.

anyway... my lil pumpkins 59cm tall n weighting 5.2KG now.

hubs company gave us a playmat/play gym when i delivered pumpkin.
took it out recently n let him try.
WOW. he loves it totally.
mayb cuz theres toys above to let him touch n see.

pumpkins reali very strong.
he's able to use his hands n hit those toys above :)

pumpkin gettin sleepy n fussing for milk

Bryan's Full Month Celebration

the day started very early.
9am momsy got up to dye the eggs while i bath lil pumpkin.
pumpkin was so smiley whn i was dressing him :))

in between momsy n i blow up the balloons n deco e corridor abit.
stupid hubs was stil slpin while we were doin al these.
lucky stil got enuf time for me to bath n make up :(

the buffet came early.
but nvm.. cuz some of my guest were on the way liao.
DAMN SATISFIED with e buffet.
2nd time order from them alr.
1st was during my wedding tea ceremony.
and this time... they gave us an additional item free :))
food are quite delicious.

MUMMY & DADDY LOVES YOU MILLIONS :)

-drinkin 150ml every 3.5hr
-1 night feed at 3am
-able to lift his head up for 5-8secs when on tummy
-attempting to flip n crawl
-slps almost 24/7
-starts recognizing ppl n voices
-knows how to play e toys on his playmat

so far... lil pumpkins been a really good boy.
now he onli wake up once at night for milk.
which allows me more time to rest n do my stuffs.

confinement

time reali flies VERY fast.
coming monday will b lil pumpkins full month.
cant believe e BIG changes happenin to my life.

getting married... having n giving birth to a baby.
my BIGGEST joy.
seeing lil pumpkin grow daily.

with pumpkin comin to 1mth..
means my confinement is ending.
i totally LOVE my confinement 100%

why?

cuz i get to eat all the food i like.
i enjoy confinement food alot.
mayb cuz i love ginger alot.
i used to hate it... but since i was preggy i started to like ginger alot.
my momsy wil cook chicken pork fish soup everyday.
every meal with different sauce.
the onli thing i dislike was e vinegar pork. reali horrible.

during confinement...
i drank lotsa milo red date water n chicken essences.
till i almost got sore throat.

bath.
i take shower everyday.
with boiled herbs water.
though i onli wash my hair every 5days...
but im glad that i can shower everyday.

confinement was reali great for me.
reali very thankful to my momsy grams n maid for helpin me throughout.
though the 1st few days was bad but still......

now...
so daily pics of lil pumpkin.

i've been puttin pumpkin on his tummy these days.
he seems to love it.
he keeps tryin to crawl. reali adorable :)

cuz last night he was quite cranky.

i was lookin back..

both of them have high nose bridge. cuz mine is damn horrible.

he's weighting 4.305kg last saturday (21/11)

and pumpkin have got a newwww love.
its his pacifier.
he love that paci so much that smtimes he uses his hand to hold it.
smart pumpkin yay... :)

but when pumpkin's angry...
he wil jus fling that paci far far away. HAHHAHHAHAA.

and pumpkin gets real red when his feedin time is up n milk's nt ready.
he can jus cry without tears.

its been 9days since i gave birth.
i knew tings wasnt goin to b easy from the start.

living apart from hubs is DAMN terrible.
e 1st few nights were alright.
but as days went by...
i found that i miss him terribly.
when night falls... i break down like a water tap.

but i know... i gotta b stronger than ever.
cuz i gotta take carex of bb bryan.
i dunno when im ever gonna adapt to this situation...
but i noe i MUST.

thank god... for givin me a lovely son.
bryan's been behaving very well.
cryin onli when its feeding time.
and occasionally....
he gives me a wide smile :)

baby's checkup last thurs was good.
he's growing well. weighting at 3.905kg now :)
and lucky... baby bryan din get jaundice.
free-ing him away from those jabs.

birth story

hubs n i made the decision to undergo c-sect.
i was scheduled for e op on 7th Nov @ 1530

so on fri night.... before slpin...
i was tellin lil baby to b a good boy n try to come out naturally.
my night was sweet n i had a nice slp.

sat mornin... woke up feelin extremely hungry.
but i cant eat nor drink :(
then suddenly !!!!!
i FELT someting drippin.
went toilet n check.
feelin scared n excited.
i was tinkin "wa. bb boy reali so guai. wanna come out naturally??"

when i checked...
found out that i was bleedin alil. brownish colour.
was thinkin if its e mucus plug.
called e dr n was told to go down clinic 4 a check.

1200 - reached clinic n let dr wong check. was 1CM dilated :) decided to go naturally. was told to go down hospital n admit.

1530 - reached delivery suite n was asked to changed n clean up while hubs went to do the admission. had the drip inserted too. it din feel that painful though. or rather there wasnt any pain.

1630 - dr wong came over n check. cervix 3CM dilated :) transferred to delivery ward.

1700 - super strong contractions starts kickin in. managed to tahan alil. but gave in to epidural in the end. i din wanna suffer another 7hrs more n have no energy to push.

1745 - epi dr came. the jab was done pretty fast. ALMOST painless. the jab reali did relieve my pains n i was able to enjoy tv n chat with hubs.

1840 - cervix 5CM dilated

1945 - had the epi dosage increased alil.

2050 - dr wong came to check. cervix 7-8CM dilated :) was told i'll b able to deliver b4 midnight.

2220 - was feelin the contraction pains. although e pains were bearable but i wanted e nurse 2 check. and cervix 9CM dilated alr. was told to b mentally prepared n practice my breathings.

2240 - nurse stopped the pidural n got me ready n practice pushing with me. breathe n push 10secs. tried 3 times n can c bb head comin alr. stopped awhile n wait for dr wong to arrive.

2300 - dr wong arrived n prepared. he was damn RELAX.

2330++ - 3...2....1.... PUSH !!!!! baby head was OUT !!!! push again n bb's body was OUT !!! next was stitching. dr wong cut for me instead of letting it tear. stitching was abit painful. but was totally distracted by baby boy's presence :)

overall.... my labour was manageable. the process was wonderful. welcoming my baby boy to the world n hearing his first cry is so amazing :)

AND MY BABY BOY WEIGHS 3.86 KG !!!!!!!!!!!!

had my checkup today.
tot it would be e last
before bb boy pops.
but who knows !!!!!!!!!!!!

during e scan for bb's weight...
dr wong found tat bb's weightin @ 3.6KG !!!!!!!!!!!
OMFG. a gain of 500g in 6days!!!!!

thn dr wong was sayin... tat e scans might b +-10%
meanin bb boy might b weightin 3.9KG.
might nt b able to give birth naturally.
plus.... im stil 0CM dilated.
was send to go TMC for scans to confirm e weight before decidin to induce or c-sect.

the TMC scan was scheduled tml (6/11)
meanwhile...
hubs n i were damn worried.
dunno wan induce or wad.
my baddie hubs was tinkin more abt e price than anyting else =X
whole night i couldnt slp. tinkin abt labour :(

thn went for e scan today.
it shos bb boy's weighting @ 3.5KG =XX

and stil undecided.
induce or c-sect.

these days... time reali pass so fast.
now its the FINAL 3 DAYS.

today...
spend my time packin my hospital bag.
making sure I've brought everyting needed.
now im wondering if i shld get e hot water bag??

suddenly i experience some pains after my nap.
pains on my backbone n lower abdomen
but i doubt its contractions.
cuz my pain doesnt goes off :(
unless i sit up right.
the pains wears off :)
no idea why also.
mayb cuz baby's positioning.

i hope by tml....
baby boy wil b engaged :)
and the symptoms wil come naturally on fri/sat

i noticed my feets are swelling.
must be the horrible water retentions.
though it aint v serious.
but i tink it makes my feets looks gross.

anyway...
hubs had a hair cut yday.
its DAMN SHORT.
but he looks damn cute.
like a fat panda bear. HAHHAHHA :)
awww.... next week he'll b gg back 4 reservist.
thats why cut super duper short.

and after givin birth...
i wont b stayin at his pl ANYMORE :) :) :)
at least 3months.

to do confinement n REST.

well.. there aint reali a choice except this.
and i want my momsy to do my confinement :)

hubs promised to visit me n BABY after/before work.

but lucky... our place are onli 1 road apart.

14th Scan + CTG at TMC

e wait was short.

baby boy's currently weighting at 3.1kg =X
dr wong says he've got a chubby chubby face :)
HAHHHAAA. probably jus like me n hubs.

was asked to do a ctg scan at tmc on sat.
to check baby's heartbeat.

went over to tmc in e afternoon on sat.
delivery suite.
strapped on for 1hour.
was told that i aint havin any contractions n baby's heartbeat is normal.

then hubs brought me out for dinner n shopping.
i love it. cuz for mths... we wont b able to do so :(

thn we went back my place.
cuz its mommys birthday on mon.
bought her a cake.

simple day. happy time. :)

im down to the LAST 5days of my preggy journey.
probably the most agonizing time.
1 min im wondering if baby boy's kickin actively.
another... im tinkin if im havin contractions or braxton hicks.
then im imaginating the labour pains.

these thoughts makes me feel scared, excited, paranoid.
as the days get closer... im wondering.
izzit goin to be my time soon??

tryin to relax alittle is tough.
with everyone anticipating for the time to come.
even hubs is gettin excited. for the first time :)

todays checkup was good.
no weight gain.
urine check normal.
pressure check normal.

though i din gain any weight.
baby boy did.

he weighting 2.9kg @ 38weeks :)
hes ready to POP ANYTIME :)

and mommy said my nose looks soooooo huge.

everyting went well for today checkup as compared to previous.
e usual routine checks.

din gain any weight.
pressure normal.
scan prefect.

today baby's reali well-behaved.
allowin dr wong to scan properly.
he was even yawnin + kickin durin e scan :)

babys 2.7kg @ 37weeks

oh.... and dr wong did a cervix check today.
cuz i was mentioning that i have some contractions lately.
but unfortunately.
im 0cm dilated. HAHHAHAHAA.

baby was named Ashton initially.
but my mum say that it aint that nice afterall...
cuz ash-ton. ash not nice. (no offense)

thn we thought mayb we should have other options too.

we've shortlisted 3.
BENJAMIN - son of the right hand.

tings have been goin reali tough this 1-2weeks.
frequent toilet trips at night. insomnia last week. baby's strong kicks n hiccups.
these all made me reali stressed out + moodless + tired 2 blog.

i've been wakin up more frequently in e night 2 pee.
probably lil baby's head is pressin too hard on my bladder area.
and since last week. i have weird slpin patterns.
i wake up at 130am n cant get back 2 slp.
till arnd 9am after breakfast =.=" no idea why too :(

and lil baby's becomin an owl. jus like me.
hes SOOOOOOO active durin 2-6am. kickin + hicuppin non-stop.
caught him in action on video. but im lazy to upload =X

anyway... i wondered if any1 miss my fat face. HHAAHAA.

10th Scan

monday was appt day.
lucky lucky. there was onli 1 patient ahead.
went for breakfast first after registering.

din wait v long. at most 10mins.
weight check. +1kg
blood pressure. normal.

lil ashton's weighting at 2.4kg now.

scannin took quite long.
cuz dr wong was checkin 4 e placenta + fluid.
fluid was at 8cm. borderline range.
and he advised us to go nuh 4 another scan.
jus in case the level falls below 5cm.

went nuh straight. waited abt 45mins.
did the ultrasound n ctg.
to check if bb's active n e fluid.
spend 2hrs there.
lucky the results were fine :)

and due to my tired-ness yday.
my brain couldnt function as usual.
i left my purse at e clinic.
realized onli at e mrt.
had to shutter bus back nuh n get it.
thank god it was at e clinic.
hubs was pissed off at me.
lucky he was fine after gettin back e purse.

appt next thurs.
so now.... i jus have to DRINK TONS OF WATER.
and lotsa milk too :)

my tired-ness

its been tough.
energy totally drained last few days.
cuz of lovely ashton....
tat lil boy of mine.... been kickin non-stop lately.
in the MIDDLE of the night.
making me unable to slp.

tings started on sunday night.
i couldnt slp.
no idea if it was cuz i was excited for monday.
or anyting else...
and lil ashton was so active.

his kicks are rather ticklish + painful.
makin me reali reali uncomfortable.
its gettin reali hard to slp on sides.
i dun wanna slp on my back.
cuz its limits blood flow to baby.
its just gettin tougher....

onli managed to slp at 6am.
and woke up at 9am. =.="
imagine my tiredness :(

thn e next few nights.
same ting repeats.
he keeps kickin vigorously arnd 3am.
wait till its abt 7am.thn wil guai guai stop kickin.

cuz usually hubs wil b back at 3am.
but lately hes been doin ot till 6am.
i reali wonder.

first reaction was faster go help.
the whole floor al got blood.
my bro faster call 995.
while me n maid carry her sit on chair.
thn use tissue press on her wound.
it was fucking scary.
almost cried out.
i knew she was in pain n fright.
but al i could do was nothing.......

the ambulance took like ages to come.
my bro in law n sis came back to help too.
lucky my bro in law from cd.
cal e head quarters n find out whr e ambulance n in charge.

when e paramedics FINALLY come.
e found e wound to b abt 2inches.
need stitches.
sis n bro acc her to hosp.
i cant go....

today cal n ask how.
lucky no need hospitalize.
now shes recuperating at home.

so fast....
time reali passed so fastttttt.
last week went by like a breeze.
reading dating shopping kept me occupied.

very very fast and im into my 32weeks... soon 33.
so far nt much complaints.
but this trimester seems alil tougher.

there were twice when i puked after dinner.
probably due to over-eating =X
and maybe heartburn.
now its BETTER.
hubs also make sure i dun eat too much nowadays.
cuz he c i puke he also heart pain n scared. HAHHAxx.

other than feelin fatigue al e time...
i guess im lucky i've yet to suffer from....
insomnia, backaches, leg cramps, mornin sickness, headaches...
hopefully al these stay far away from me.

anyway.... updates on lil ashton...
appt on monday mornin.

i lost 1kg.
blood test results for gestational diabetes negative.
blood pressure ok.

lil ashton weighting 2kg now.
head down :)
everyting goin well.
next appt 2weeks later.

p/s: doc says lil ashton might pop 6 weeks later =X

Knowing Abt The Pregnancy

Rewind back to Jan-Feb.
hubs n i went Bangkok for a getaway.

period supposed to b end-Feb.
usually it'll b 2-3days late.
waited and waited.

went doc. but nt to check.
cuz i was feelin sick that time.
and i was havin some urine probs.
like keep peein abit abit onli.

doc tested n said it was urine tract infection.
UNTIL i say.... "oh. my period havent arrive also"
he decided to do preggy check too.
cuz he said there's a possibility.

3MINS.
2 LINES.
PREGNANT.
SHOCKED.

at that point of time..... i seriously felt so sad.
cuz i knew me n hubs played with fire n got burnt.
cuz durin the trip we din had any protections.
called hubs n told him wad happened.
he too... SHOCKED.

went home. discussed n decided to go to a gynae.
to check how many weeks n know more abortions.
YES. we wanted to abort the little life in me.

but things changed after the gynae trip.
we saw our lil baby. with strong heartbeat.
thats the most amazing moment.

Till now. 7mths later.
we havent regretted our decision.
but instead.
we're anticipating excitedly for baby ashton's arrival.

8th Scan

went for check up on monday.
it was a mornin appt. 10am.
and i had to fast the night before.
cuz i had to do blood test.
to see if i've got gestational diabetes.

woke up at 8am to drink e syrup.
cant sleep.
freakin hungry.

reached arnd 10.
and shit it. doc stil havent come.
waited n waited. until almost 11 lor =X

took pressure n weight before scannin.
gained another 1kg =(

baby ashton was SOOOOOOOOOOO cute durin the scan.
could c him blinkin his eyes.
and i tink he was hungry too.
cuz he was sucking thumb while scannin.
even doc also say he hungry. HAHHAHA.

so far so good.
baby ashton's weighting at 1.6kg now.
and doc says he's head down le =X
like so fast hor....

OHHH. and STRETCHMARKS appeared.
i knew it would b here. din noe so fast onli.
but its okiey. hopefully it'll b gone/lighten after givin birth.
even it doesnt.... hubs wil stil love me.
cuz i so wei da. give birth to ashton for him.

WOW... 1 week never update le.
was really busy... and tired.
sometimes.... i feel like updating...
but i was busy viwawa-ing... HAHHAHA.

last week went by pretty fast.
everyday was same routine.
wake up with hubs... prepare breakfast for him.
7am++ go get breakfast... watch my hong-kie dramas...
thn nap till 1pm+
mini lunch... do laundry. play games.
7pm+ wait for hubs n dinner.
thn is sweet sweet time with hubs. and dreamland @11pm.
very routine.... whole week was like that.

EXCEPT thurs.... cuz went out to meet angeline to go for the hospital tour.
meet up quite early. 10am.
the tour arnd e hospital was okiey okiey.
got to see e different rooms n suites.
i love their suites. so classy n shiok. BUT..... nt v practical to b spendin so much on the room.
more of a want than a need.

went to taka baby fair after that. walked n walked.
we din get anything though. cuz e prices aint reali tat cheap.
as compared to retail n e expo fair i went.
thn mommy say nw 7th month... beta dun buy anyting for bb.
actually.... i tink i also got nthin much to buy liao....
bottles... pampers... bath tub... pram... playpen... car seat...
all buy alr.. onli havet set up.
cuz grams pantang. say wait for bb born liao thn setup better...

went for lunch n rest. nw my legs or rather e soles...
are gettin rather painful if i walk too much n dun sit down.
i tink becuz i gettin too heavy liao =(

went paragon to c fox baby stil got sale anot.
but sadly.... dun have alr.
angeline went home after that....
while i went bedok to find hubs.

weekend.... went bedok find hubs n library.
been so addicted to go lib lately.
read up on child birth n baby care n breastfeeding...
at least must know abit here n there.
must b abit prepared. mentally.

after that went to simlim.
cuz hubs tooty comp explode weeks ago.
he so dumb. go change e volts. obviously overload e supply.
thn sparks come out lor. HAHHAHAH.
n he's been so upset cannot play games.
although i dun like him play games...
but also dun wan see him so kelian.

thn we went dinner at some pasta shop @ bugis.
he brought me there cuz i was cravin pasta AFEW DAYS AGO.
not bad. e concept is different from pasta mania.
cuz can ownself choose e ingredients n sauces. (although nt many to choose from =X)

arcade after tat. let hubs play e soccer game.
walau... he play 30mins lor. play until e game finish. =.="
thn he was soooooo ya-ya when he won e opponent opposite us.
and lil ashton so excited inside arcade. kick non-stop.
home sweet home after that.

sunday was breakfast day. same as last weekend.
cuz bb ashton rmbrs. HAHHAA. simple day.

monday was CHECKUP DAY.

cuz im tired alr..... gonna go watch dvd n rest.
later stil need to make supper for hubs.

bb ashton seems to noe we're gg out.

bought some dvds n food.
night was better.

sunday was bb ashton's day !!!
early mornin 8am make me wake up alr.
thn start to kick non-stop....
thn i was tinkin.... izzit he noes its breakfast time.
cuz yday hubs promise bb ashton to brin him for mac's big breakfast.

i TRIED to sleep. toss n turn.
until hubs wake up. thn told him its time 4 breakfast.
told him bb wake up.... waitin 4 him liao.

he wanted to ignore me.

FIRST TIME.
he felt those kicks.

thn he faster change n say go eat breakfast liao.
he damn horrible.

yday went to hdb.
to sign the agreement of lease.

yepx. me n hubs bought a house.
under the build-2-order scheme. cck - sunshine court
alr ballot in dec... before even havin lil ashton.
got a fairly good queue number. #10
so we've got e desired level n unit.

so far... we've alr conpleted 50% of the procedure.
another 50 % is when the house is done.
which is like another 2-3years. =.="

its like stil a long way. =(
but nvm.... by that time...
lil ashton wil b big boy liao.
then he can deco his room.

and in the mean time....
we're just gonna work hard for a better life...

ever since i realized i was preggy...
i feel sooooooo SUPER reluctant to go work.
i always felt so tired. like nt enuf slp. (though i slept @ 9pm)
i HATE e freakin mornin mrt crowd. those assholes who dun bath b4 gg 2 work n those who cant afford washin powder. i hate them. they smell like e rubbish chutes =.=""

although i dun have mornin sickness.... that shitass was my mornin sickness daily.

now that i've quit. i feel bored at home.
everyday i dunno wad to do. like a human without the soul.
i feel so financially depleted. even though hubs give me allowances... i stil feel cash-less.
and since there was h1n1.. i avoided goin out. onli weekends.
so means i hardly spend money right??? WRONG.
i go out 1 time can spend $100 liao. but dunno spend where. HAHHAaa.

apparently since i so free... i shld do some housework.
i started doin laundry. else.... HAHAHAAA.
after that i'll feel so tired.

then when i complain 2 hubs abt my boredom n tired-ness...
guess what he'll say to me everytime.

so fucked up right.
but nw im tinkin... actually its quite true.

but nvm...
im 'tryin' to brighten up my day.

cuz hubs works shift. i also shift.
he slp wad time = i slp wad time.

now... im learnin to do my part as a wifey.
i wake up 6am to prepare breakfast for him when he's on mornin shift.
i stay awake till 3am to cook supper for him when he's on night shift.
and ever since this routine started 2weeks back... hubs seems so happy abt it.
cuz i complain alil lesser. n mayb he tinks im gettin sweeter. wAHAHHAaa.

n lil ashton seems to noe some tings too.... when hubs gonna come home arnd 3am.
i'll stand at kitchen to wait for him... then durin tat 5-10 mins.
bb ashton wil kick n kick. n when hubs home. he'll stop. so cute.. :)
its like he's excited that hubs gonna b home like tat.
and when im enjoyin tv time/shoppin time with hubs.
lil ashton wil guai guai dun disturb. so understanding. HAHHAH
hope next time he wil also guai guai.

went for the checkup on 11th.
was super excited.
after so long finally can get to c bb ashton.

but the wait was terrible.
my appt 7pm. but i tink 8pm thn get to c the doc =X
yepx. cuz alot of ppl tat day.

bb ashton's weightin abt 1.038kg
doc say normal range. nt too big size :)
im so glad that though i was sick previously.
bb ashton stil managed to get all e nutrients he needed.

so far i've put on 5.5kg since i was preggie.
hopefully i wun gain too much.
doc says i shld gain <10kg
hopefully hopefully.

okiey. time for nap. *yawns*

mayb cuz i've been wakin up 6am everyday.

after such a long time...
i finally have e chance to blog what happened.
a series of unlucky tings jus keeps happening.

just weeks ago... my kitchen lights on fire.
in between.... awful tings happened n i dun wish to say....

thn king fell reali sick on sunday. 39deg.
worse... kings f-in desktop exploded on monday.
tuesday i start havin cough n runnin nose.
night time... vomitting n fever.
got a jab n i tot i'll b fine.
throughout e night... bb ashton wasnt movin =X
3am, king came back from work n my temp was 39.2
go a&e... took e swab, go delivery suite n came home.
my temp did subside n bb ashton started to move more
thn nurse called n say ....

"you're tested POSITIVE for h1n1."

its horrible to hear that seriously.
cuz i have to take tamiflu+other medications to get better.
i dun wanna get worst n affect bb ashton.

now into the 2nd day of medication...
i'm feelin much better.
fevers gone. flus gone. onli terrible cough.
eating alil more than just bread.
hopefully king n i wil recover soon...

my birthday this year was rather quiet.
spend it with my family.

thn king n i went on our lil honeymoon.
